They wind up chest to chest again and trade knees. Shevchenko has a body lock again, Jedrzejczyk can’t get free but is staying upright so far. They break without incident. Jedrzejczyk avoids a few kicks. Shevchenko is coming forward more instead of countering. Hard couple of rights from Shevchenko and she avoids some punches as the round ends.

It’s a little boy’s fervor and a little boy’s make-believe, and for much of the show, which Fisher co-directs with Jerry Metzker, it’s transporting to feel like one of the neighborhood gang again: bit parts in a ringleader’s staged battle, albeit with much more insightful historical analysis this time around.
